Our Chamber increases its participation in EU projects, especially at an increasing level every year. We take part in many projects as either a partner, a beneficiary or a direct executive. These are:
In partnership with the Northern Ireland-based NI-CO, the implementation partner of the Innovative Entrepreneurship company, which won the training tender in the small entrepreneurs support program, one of the EU projects, our Chamber conducts a training program for 65 people through a team of two to provide basic business knowledge. The program, which started in November 2019, will last 22 months.
The cluster-centered support program for small businesses is another KTEZO EU project. As a result of this work carried out in partnership with ECOSO local consultancy company, there will be services such as the training of producers to produce added value by processing local food products, some grant contribution, establishment of a Business Center that provides training support for businesses in the Chamber, and preparation of a website where this information will be available online.
We are also carrying out a rural development-themed project with the EU in order to serve the producers of the Büyükkonuk Olive Producers Agricultural Cooperative through EZKOOP. In this project, works such as establishing a tree nursery, purchasing a cold storage, purchasing a business vehicle, purchasing a harvesting and shredder machine, and installing a filling and packaging facility will be carried out.
